The FIAC

The international performing arts festival of Bahia is sponsored by Oi, Bahia Secretary for culture (via Fazcultura), Petrobras and the Ministry for Culture (via Rouanet), CAIXA and Funarte.

Fiac-Ba has also the support of the Núcleo dos Festivais Internacionais de Teatro do Brasil (Centre of Brazilian  International Performing Arts Festivals) , formed by the organisation commitees of the international festivals of Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, São José do Rio Preto, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Londrina. The nucleo offers technical counseling and recommends groups and artists, in order to strengthen the rare opportunity of exchange between artists from diverse cultural contexts, reflecting upon the perspectives in the performing arts in Brazil and abroad.
